Saving Face - a real challenge in South Asia

US Cooperating in Faridullah's Probe: Hoagland

Diplomats' cruelty threat to Pakistani citizens

By: Haroon Baloch ISLAMABAD, March 3: Pakistani citizens are under immense threat since diplomatic episodes like Raymond Davis kept happening during the past one-year with Farid Ullah being another victim of so called "diplomatic immunity". Farid Ullah, 47 ex-army Jawan was a private security guard at Phoenix Securities Pvt. Ltd. after his retirement who worked normally 384 hours a month for Rs. 8000 only to brought up his six children and wife. Throughout  his career, he guarded humans lives earlier at borders and then diplomatic missions in Islamabad. But he did not  know that at the end a diplomat would claim his life. Pak Exaggerated Response to Rohrabacher's Resolution

Republican congressman Dana Rohrabacher introduced a House Concurrent Resolution on February 17 th demanding the right of self-determination for Balochi nation. Earlier this month, US House of Representative's sub-committee on foreign affairs oversight and investigated the prevailing situation of Balochistan in view of human rights' violence. Pakistan responded furiously to the US government on this move of congressman and termed it interference in Pakistan 's internal affairs. Newly appointed ambassador to Washington , H.E.
