Colombo: Rickshaw, a symbolic way of transport in South Asia, is considered as an economically viable and pleasant mean to commute around in Sri Lanka.

International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) conducted a workshop in last week of April, 2012 while assembling 23 journalists from South Asia to train them in New media, new challenges: best practices in the digital age for South Asia.

Seasoned journalists from United States, Indonesia and Sri Lanka trained these young lot of journalists with special focus on Multimedia, Online Journalism and Climate Change.

Imran makes 6 promises to nation to build a new Pakistan

March 23, 2013 By Haroon Baloch Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chief Imran Khan has made 6 promises with the nation to build a new Pakistan. Addressing a public gathering in Lahore on Saturday evening‚ Imran Khan said he will always speak truth with nation and will stand with oppressed class. Imran Khan said he will have no property or assets outside Pakistan and will live and die in the country. He pledged that he will never benefit from power and will not allow any of his relatives to benefit from his being in power. He will not make factories after coming in to power. Failures in Our ‘National Security’, Who’s Responsible?

By: Haroon Baloch A vindictive security lapse around Sunday midnight ensued into huge military loss exposing strengths of Pakistani national security, leaving thousands of questions in the minds of countrymen and answering alike-wise to enemies. Pakistan Navy sacrificed around $75 million P-3C Orions and 10 lives during assault with anti-state elements. Physical damage may be measureable but the actual loss in terms of disclosure is indeterminate.
